“Unique is our flagship brand and its demand is growing. We are adding a 30,000 ton capacity to our Durgapur plants to boost Unique’s production”, said Shri Sandip Ranjan Ghose, Executive President, Sales, Marketing & Logistics. He emphasised that Unique was the second largest-selling brand in West Bengal. Mr. Ghose was addressing nearly 500 channel partners from West Bengal and Jharkhand at the launch of the new-look of Unique Cement in Kolkata on 6th July, 2017. The channel partners appreciated the new packaging of Unique.
On 19th July, 2017, Unique was presented in a new look in Patna before at least 350 channel partners from Bihar. Shri Pracheta Majumdar, Executive Director and Shri Ghose graced the occasion with their august presence.
Shri Ghose told the channel partners in Kolkata “We must make Birla Corporation Limited the most admired and respected cement company based on the three pillars of Relationship, Price-Premium-Profit and Business Excellence.” He referred to the print and electronic media campaign and said the TV commercial had been well–received by individual home-builders. The newly introduced Helpline was generating inquiries while Club Ultimate initiative was getting the desired response. “No other brand has this kind of an initiative because we take care of you (channel partners) and your family”, said Shri Ghose. He released “The Cement Se Ghar Tak Companion”, a unique home building guide book for the IHB segment.
Shri Pradip Sarkar, Vice-President, Sales & marketing, explained how the Company was helping the channel partners strengthen the brand pull.
