Birla Corporation Ltd has recently learned that some unscrupulous persons falsely posing themselves as employees/representatives/agents of Birla Corporation Ltd with ulterior motive to earn wrongful gain and/or cheat the customers and fraudulently approaching customers online through certain websites or through telephone calls or fake letters, soliciting them to buy products of Birla Corporation Ltd. These people are using the name of the company with a view to tarnish the image and reputation of Birla Corporation Ltd.

We wish to caution the general public that Birla Corporation (and its associated/group companies) have neither appointed nor authorized any person or agency to approach people online on such websites, or solicit deposit of money or act on our behalf or use the name, trademark and logo/websites.

These are cases of fraud and cheating punishable under existing laws and the public may proceed in accordance with the laws against such unauthorized individuals contacting them posing as representatives of Birla Corporation Ltd.

Please be warned that Birla Corporation Ltd. shall not be liable for any damages or losses arising out of or related to any action taken in pursuance to such fake and unauthorized calls received, including without limitation incidental, consequential, special, direct or indirect damages, loss of profit, loss of business, or any associated claims, demands, liabilities, penalties, obligations, suits or proceedings, whether or not Birla Corporation Ltd. had been advised of the possibility of such damages.
