The Sojitz-L&T Consortium had signed an EPC rail contract with the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India (DFCCIL) in August 2013 for the construction of a part of Western Dedicated Freight Corridor, the country’s unique and the largest railways project.

The project involved construction of 626 km double track corridor connecting different locations in Rajasthan and Haryana. The project was completed on 25 August, 2017. MP Birla Cement Concrecem, OPC 53 Grade was used for the construction. Approximately 5 Lacs MT cement was used for the project.
